Committed to anchoring technology
Metall-Kunststoff-Technik GmbH & Co KG (MKT), a manufacturer of anchoring technology, produces products of the highest quality, whilst offering consistent reliability.
for small or large scale applications. Based in Germany’s Rheinland-Pfalz

region, MKT has progressively extended its production facility over the years so that it can continue to provide a reliable base for the business. The company now has four production and logistics halls in Weilerbach, as well as a sister company – MKT Fastening LLC – that has its own production facility in Arkansas, USA, and services the requirements of the North American construction sector. MKT has a wide range of machining capability including three Nedschroef boltmaker machines that are capable of producing bolts from M5 – M20 in one operation. The maximum wire diameter, depending on material and product,
stablished in 1990, MKT supplies a comprehensive range of standard anchor systems, as well as tailor-made anchor solutions
ranges from 6mm – 22mm, with the machine producing 180 pieces per minute. It can also produce a thread length from 80mm up to 130mm.
MKT also has an automatic line that
was custom designed and produced specifically for the assembly (in sets of four) of MKT’s wedge anchors. The automatic line includes a series of inspection systems, including confirming the orientation of each component, checking accurate assembly, before packing into boxes.
“The automatic line has had a major impact on our production speeds, as well as improving our efficiency,” explains Stefan Weustenhagen, product manager at MKT. “Although it works at the same speed as our previous machines, it can assemble four anchors at a time. This means that we have been able to streamline the amount of machinery needed for the production of

wedge anchors, whilst still producing the same quantity.” A key part of MKT’s business philosophy
is its commitment to quality. The company has over 20 European Technical Approvals with final product testing becoming a critical part of the business. So much so that MKT has its own testing house that enables it to carry out a variety of testing procedures including dynamic load testing, pull out testing, shear testing, cracked/uncracked concrete testing, vibration testing, and material testing. “We are committed to supplying fixing
technology that can be depended on to meet the needs of the construction industry across the globe,” says Stefan. “We will continue to focus on high-quality products that come with a ‘Made in Germany’ guarantee.”
