Knightsbridge will this year be illuminated by the dynamic colourful windows of Harvey Nichols. They have created a stunning contemporary light display incorporating a futuristic theme with neon lights and huge Christmas decorations. The windows each feature a variety of multi‐layered props, with giant stars and snowflakes featuring behind every window arch around the store. Each layer is made from colourful lighting which is programmed to switch on and off, resulting in a kaleidoscope of colours and creating a modern, festive stained glass window effect.
Metallic fabrics have been used to radiate out from the central design, reflecting and enhancing the light effects across the glittered snowflakes and stars. Embellished mannequins put the finishing touches to the display with angelic features such as wings, snowflake encrusted halos and glitter.

Molton Brown by Stylo This year, Christmas windows in Molton Brown stores across the UK, Ireland, Scotland, America and Japan saw festive gift boxes take centre stage. The concept, based around gift giving, was rolled out across 48 stores and Stylo worked alongside Molton Brown’s visual merchandising team throughout the whole creative process,
producing initial renders and design concepts right though to the final build and installation.
The team at Stylo produced 692 foamex boxes in different shapes and sizes which were used in the window displays. The signature Molton Brown print pattern was applied to each box and a ribbon bow was attached to make the boxes look like festive Christmas presents. The displays included badgelit and
turntable boxes, adding light and movement in windows to display luxury Molton Brown cosmetics. The flagship store – shown in the images – is situated in one of London’s busiest shopping streets and it is certainly a stand out store this season. Stylo’s installers worked through the night to provide and align six two‐metre wide snow walls, which were displayed in the large windows, ready for the Christmas lights switch on in Regent Street.
The falling snow added a simple yet elegant touch to both inside and outside the store.
