SHOW PREVIEW

Doming system and plotter cutters debut at show O

n stand H50, Graphtec GB will showcase four new or recently launched products. Making their UK debuts will be the CE6000-60 and Silhouette Portrait plotter/cutters, supplemented by the recently launched Silhouette CAMEO desktop cutter and the PolyDrop doming system. One of a family of three CE6000 plotter/cutters that claim to set a new cost- to-performance benchmark for cutting technology, the CE6000-60 is the most appropriate for the printwear and promotional products market. Combining all of the basic high- performance capabilities of the hugely popular CE5000 series that it now replaces, the CE6000 series also offers new and more powerful production enhancements at a relatively low-cost price point.

The CE6000 offers a wider and longer- length cutting area, increased cutting speed of up to 900mm/sec, a maximum cutting force of 500gf and an ability to cut a much wider range of materials (including flock and flex) with greater efficiency.

Embroidery supplies M

adeira UK are looking forward to meeting you on stand E60 to discuss your embroidery needs.

Madeira offers the largest colour range of embroidery threads, from CLASSIC Rayon and Polyester to beautiful metallic, wool blend or matt effect threads in a variety of thicknesses, so creative options are endless. Our Ezee backing range continues to grow with the addition of Comfortwear. This very soft, light fabric is used on the reverse of embroidery to protect the skin from potential irritation.

Applied easily by heat press we highly recommend this backing for lingerie, babywear and sportswear. Our popular embroidery training courses will continue throughout 2013, offering newcomers to the business and the more experienced embroiderer the opportunity to brush up on their skills and learn new techniques from our experts. The CE6000-60 also features the latest ARMS 5.0 (Advanced Registration Mark Sensing) system that provides media plotting and cutting accuracy via four-point rather than the traditional three-point media registration, making it particularly suited to the print-and-cut dye sublimation process. The CE6000-60 comes bundled with a free Graphtec Studio cutting design software program.

The Silhouette Portrait is the latest addition to the widely used range of Silhouette desktop cutters. At less than £200 it is the perfect entry-level machine and will accommodate applications as diverse as garment printing, decals and rhinestone manifestations.

The larger Silhouette CAMEO desktop cutter offers a number of advanced design features. These include a new cutting head to enable an even more diverse range of materials to be handled via an extended 12-inch cutting width, combined with a greater ability to cut thicker and therefore more difficult materials that hitherto were not possible using a conventional desktop cutter.

LOW COST: The new CE6000-60 offers all you need for a relatively low price point.

Completing the Graphtec GB showcase will be the PolyDrop doming system that enables the creation of highly individualistic and intuitive 3D images for application to a wide range of materials used for giftware and promotional products manufacture.
