«Zorya-Mashproekt» Gas Turbine Research & Production Complex is well established amongst the CIS countries as the largest marine and industrial gas turbine manufac- turer. The company can produce gas turbines with power rated from 2.5 up to 110 MW as well as gearboxes with a power range up to 70 MW. «Zorya-Mashproekt» has over half a century of experience within the marine and industrial gas turbine market. In fact, since 1954 the company can boast that it has delivered over 3000 marine and indus- trial gas turbines and many thousands of gearboxes.
January 2005 hailed an historic milestone for «Zorya-Mashproekt» gas turbines; they had accumulated some 30 million kilowatt and over 30 million firing hours. Their customer base now extends to over 500 ships of the worlds Navies from 20 different countries, over 100 gas pipelines compressor stations and over 60 power stations in countries including Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech, Azerbaijan, Canada, Iran, Uzbekistan, to name a few.

supplying power generation for offshore fast crafts, hovercrafts and hydrofoils propulsion plants.
In 2003 the company delivered marine gas turbines, gearboxes and completed propul- sion plants to the navies of India, Russia, China, Hellenic, Singapore and other Navies. Sea trials, for earlier delivered gas turbines on board vessels for the navies of China, India and Greece were all successful.
In June 2003 «Rosoboronexport» (Russian state company responsible for import- export of military equipment) signed a con- tract to buy a series of «Zorya- Mashproekt» UGT 3000 and UGT 6000 marine gas turbines to «Vympel» shipyard
for powering fast craft «Molniya» (Tarantul in NATO classification) being built by «Vympel» Shipyard.
«Zorya-Mashproekt» finished 2004 suc- cessfully by delivering the first UGT 6000 gas turbines to Khabarovsk shipyard for installation onboard the medium sized land- ing hovercraft «Murena». Within 2005- 2006 two hovercrafts "Murena" were deli- vered to the Navy of the Republic of Korea.
Currently, the company is experiencing the highest level of business confirmed for «Zorya-Mashproekt» gas turbines and propulsion plants with recently received new orders.
