The Besstrashny destroyer at Zvezdochka berth
works is an evident proof of development of mi l i tary- technical cooperat ion wi th foreign state.
In 2001-2003 Zvezdochka shipyard has repaired the project 956 destroy- er Besstrashny. Repair of one of the most up-do-date surface ships in its class won highest appraisals of the Commander-in-Chief of
the
Russian Navy. Obtaining important experience of repairing such surface ships, Zvezdochka is ready to handle similar orders for foreign customers.
Zvezdochka shipyard is one of the first Russian enterprises which according to the Russian Presidential Decree having obtained the right to conclude con- tracts on its own with foreign part- ners for supplying of spares, per- forming of repair works and techni- cal maintenance with regard to diesel-electric submarines of 877EKM, 641 and 636 projects, 956 project destroyers.
It is worth mentioning that Zvezdochka cooperates with for-
eign customers not only in the sphere of military-technical coop- eration. Zvezdochka-produced ship propellers are international- ly-known and recognized. Under contract with the Netherlands the shipyard manufactures tankers, trawlers are built in cooperation with Norway. Zvezdochka special- ists cooperated with the Norwegian and U.S. firms in accommodating oil and gas fields.
Sphere and geography of ship- yard activity is expanding con- stantly. Zvezdochka is always opened for collaboration and always ready to welcome foreign ships to give them new life and new combat capabilities.
