CLUB MISSILE SYSTEMS WITHSTAND ANY CHALLENGE

3M-14AE anti-ship cruise missile shown at the picture

The CLUB missile systems are devel- oped by Experimental Machine-Design Bureau Novator (Yekaterinburg, Rus- sia) and they have incorporated the best features from all armament systems de- signed by Novator during its existence.

The diverse nature of CLUB missile sys- tems assures to fulfill the naval tasks in complex by providing the ability to de- stroy enemy’s surface ships, submarines and coastal infrastructure.

The CLUB systems have four options: 1) integrated missile system CLUB-S to arm submarines with anti-ship, anti- submarine and land-attack missiles; 2) integrated missile system CLUB-N to arm surface ships with anti-ship, anti- submarine and land-attack missiles with index “T”; 3) coastal missile complex CLUB-M with anti-ship and land-attack missiles with index “K”; 4) aircraft-based anti-ship and land-at- tack cruise missiles with index “A”.

All systems engage common combat means, modified depending on a carrier.

Sea-based systems include along with the missiles a universal launcher (for surface ships), a universal fire con- trol system, flight mission preparation equipment for land-attack missiles, ground-based equipment complex, loading means set.

The coastal missile complex includes communication vehicle and launcher- transporter as well as an own mobile radar. Possibility of receiving exter- nal target designation from superior command posts and reconnaissance means is also foreseen. Originally de- signed on a Russia-made chassis of in- creased passability, the coastal missile complex CLUB-M can be fitted to another chassis following customer’s request. Taking into consideration its composition, this system is a perfect means of control that is fast, powerful and cost efficient at the same time.

Submarine-based missiles are launched from standard 533 mm torpedo tubes. The CLUB-S systems may be fitted to any submarines equipped with torpedo tubes of this caliber, including those carriers that have passed moderniza- tion. Ship-based missiles are launched from a universal launcher of vertical or inclined option.

High efficiency of the CLUB systems is ensured by its ammunition includ- ing three types of different missiles: anti-ship cruise missile 3M-54E and its modifications 3M-54TE/KE/AE, anti-ship cruise missile 3M-54E1 and its modifications 3M-54TE1/KE1/ AE1; anti-submarine missiles 91RE1/ 91RTE2; high-accuracy land-attack cruise missile 3M-14E and its modi- fications 3M-14TE/KE/AE.

Two types of anti-ship missiles in this system ensure killing of surface ships like cruiser, destroyer, descent ship, transport, missile corvette.
