5 REASONS NOT TO DRIVE IN LONDON
We know the typical stories we hear about London, busy city, lovely sights but the one thing we all forget about, is the transport!! How do you expect to see all of these sights when it takes you a lifetime by car to get from one place to the next? No one wants to fork out more money than they have to, and congestion charge is no exclusion! We have bet- ter things to spend our money on thank you, like a nice KFC Bucket for the fam- ily! Ahhh isn’t that nice.
Well I have a list of things that you can do and ways that you can travel to prevent all the hassle...
The Tube This is the fastest way to get around London – hands down, you can switch from one train to the next if you’re lucky you may even have the beauty of people singing to you at different stations, rub- bing their inner arm on your head... you still interested?
On your bike! You will learn to love your bike the same now as you did as a kid. There are bikes that are easily accessible now and you can dodge all kinds of traffic, weaving in and out of it like a snake and best of all its free!! I would say look out for those jealous drivers though.... they may just stick out a wheel to slow you down...
Walk How could we forget walking? I said WALKING, not power walking over several miles, I will not be held respon- sible for those that took it too far! Jokes aside, this is the more natural way to get round London. I will say plan your route and take a lot of fluids with you, we don’t anyone’s day trip ending in the A&E!
