SONORAMA
Sonorama is a annual festival in Aranda de Duero, A 35,000 population town 95 miles north to Madrid (Barajas Airport), famoust- hanks to its gastronomy, its suckling lamb is well-known worldwide, and its subterra- nean wineries with a 500 years history. The wineries are 8 miles of passages across the town 15 meters deep, creating an amazing subterranean world. Traditions include the massive free lunch in the centre of the town, an amazing taste of food and wine of the region, and all accom- panied by music concerts. It’s unbelievable to see how the festival takes control of the town and its inhabit- ants live in harmony with the festival go- ers. An unique experience.
SONORAMA
SONORAMA is more than just music, when attending this festival you’ll enjoy a free wine tasting, short-film, exhibitions, even a free swimming pool during the con- certs. This festival is managed by Art de Troya, a nonprofit organization of 200 young people. They are showing year by year that some- thing big can be achieved if you work with vision and live for music!
In 13 years of existence of Sonorama mas- sive international bands have been playing year by year, JAMES, GOGOL BORDELLO, ASH, YEAH YEAH YEAHS, !!!, RINOC- EROSE, SIX BY SEVEN, LADYTRON,
INFADELS, etc… and also many Spanish indie Pop/Rock bands. This year more than 60 bands like BRETT ANDERSON, THE RAVEONETTES, THE ETTES, THE SOUNDS, o THE PAINS OF BEING PURE A T

It’s in conjunction with a tourist organisation created in order to promote all wineries and villages within the Ribera del Duero area. They visit every day during the festival, so during you will have the opportunity to learn about one of the worlds most unique areas for wine.
