StudioLive 16.4.2
16-Channel Recording & Live Sound Digital Mixer
StudioLive 16.4.2 is a versatile 16-channel digital mixing console with an integrated 22 x 18 FireWire computer audio interface. Unlike other digital mixing consoles which tend to rely on menu-driven LCD displays and hardware controls, it offers an incredibly logical layout and a wealth of dedicated controls.
Compatible with Logic, Sonar, and any ASIO and Core Audio DAW software, StudioLive acts as your FireWire computer audio interface and is capable of handling 22 simultaneous inputs.
• 16 XLR inputs, each with MAX mic preamps, inserts, and direct outputs, and every channel has a dedicated Fat Channel dynamics and EQ section. Fat Channel is a full-featured channel strip available on every channel, aux send, sub group and master. Press any channel’s “select” button, and in an instant you have access to that channel’s high pass filter, 4-band semi- parametric EQ, compressor, limiter, and gate/expander—all with dedicated, clearly defined controls. Fat Channel functionality is also incredibly useful for creating a tight live mix.
• With 6 auxiliary sends, you have all the control needed for setting up stage monitor mixes and mul- tiple zones. A talkback section enables you to speak through specific aux sends or the master output. Two programmable 32 bit DSP effects engines are built-in and include a useful library of reverbs, delays, and other effects with tap tempo, and the ability to save and recall settings and scenes.
• Bundled with Capture multi-track audio recording software. Mac and Windows compatible, Capture is tightly integrated with the hardware aspect of the StudioLive 16.4.2. In two mouse clicks you can arm every track and start recording every channel of the mixer. All 16 input channels and a selectable stereo group can be recorded on their own track effortlessly. Capture can export your recorded tracks so you can easily bring them into your DAW for post production work.
• Packed with bright and lively meters to aid in adjusting parameters and carrying out different tasks.
