BEHRINGER DCX2496 ULTRADRIVE PRO
24-Bit/96kHz Digital Loudspeaker Management System
The DCX2496 provides excellent audio quality, along with a comprehensive feature list. It allows for precise set-up of multiple loudspeaker arrays and other contractor-installed applications. Each of the 3-inputs and 6-outputs have fixed processing blocks, including gain, delay, EQ and dynamic EQ on the input channels, and gain, crossover, EQs, limiter and delays on the output side. One of the inputs can accept a stereo AES/EBU digital signal. An integrated sample rate converter assists in accepting various sample rates. Four different mono and stereo output modes are available, all with individual crossover filter types with selectable roll-off characteristics. Input and output delays allow for time adjusting signals to compen- sate for temperature changes or for adjusting arrival time differences for individual speaker clusters. EQs can be used for both musical enhancement or for level-dependent equalization. DriveRack PX is equipped with everything needed to get the most out of a stereo powered speaker system. It provides an effective way to manage all aspects of powered loudspeaker management for PA ystem applications. With its large compliment of digital processors, it might be the only device needed between a mixer and powered speakers. The processor contains a Real Time Analyzer (RTA) and comes with a dbx M2 measurement microphone. This allows users to easily optimize a system through the use of the DriveRack PX Wizards for quick and accurate venue setups. DriveRack PA+ is a powerful 1RU speaker management processor, packed with all-inclusive dynamics, EQ and Real Time Analysis processing for the professional on a budget. It basically replaces a rack full of gear, and utilizes an intuitive user interface to control independent channels of processing power. Among some of the DSP featured is a linkable 28-Band Graphic equalizer, a dbx stereo compressor module, feedback eliminator and the 120A Subharmonic Synthesizer on the input section. The six-channel DriveRack PA+ output system includes parametric EQs, peak limiters (which provide protection against speaker blowouts) and an alignment delay. DriveRack 260 is a processor designed for complete system control of equalization, dynamics and routing possibilities in live or contractor sound applications. Powerful processing includes both a linkable 28-band graphic and 9-band parametric EQ, while system dynamics are controlled by the built-in compressor. Further component protection is provided by DBX’s PeakStopPlus®
limiters, which help protect against too much power and sudden transient spikes.
Before users adjust the EQ, they can use the internal Pink Noise Generator and Real Time Analyzer to get familiar with the room acoustics. RANE CP52S Commercial Processor
The CP52S is a single zone, commercial audio preamplifier and paging unit for offices, bars, restaurants, fitness facilities, etc. Programmable processor provides paging and multiple-source ambient audio control. Paging microphone can be either dynamic or condenser with switchable +15V phantom power for use with the latter. The unit features a single input for connecting a paging microphone and 4 stereo line inputs (selectable one at a time) for connecting audio sources, such as an AM/FM receiver, CD player and more. Three levels of priority are provided and are user selectable. A ducking feature automatically lowers program audio during paging and the ducker-level is user adjustable. The Naviga- tor NAV240 is a multi- function system processor designed for commercial installation and production audio. The unit can operate as a matrix mixer, loudspeaker controller or signal router. A comprehensive set of DSP is included, with no limit on its use. All functions operate concurrently and are controlled simultaneously with no need to compile any files or settings. This equates to placing a set of FBX feedback control filters on every input and compressors on every input and output, without triggering a “running out of DSP” message. Control is achieved via the fully featured front-panel controls, or via the included Windows software, with USB or RS232 for connection protocols. The 322 is a multi function DSP processor that features two inputs, two outputs and “drag and drop” functionality using the included 322 Designer software for Windows.
