The AVR 2600 steps-up from the AVR 1600 with another HDMI input, Faroudja DCDi Cinema video processing with upscaling to 1080p, multiroom audio, and surround back amplifier channels configurable for use as second-zone amplification. It offers full-color, high-definition, graphical on-screen interface, including HDMI and component video. Compressed music tools improve playback quality of any compressed audio stream. Connects to Harman’s The Bridge III docking station for playback, control and charging of iPod and iPhone. Also features Dolby Volume technology, programmable power-up volume, and IR remote extension jacks for control of the amplifier when placed in a cabinet.
