HMX-200 • HMX-203 • HMX-204 • HMX-205 Full-HD Flash Camcorders
The HMX-200, 203, 204 and 205 offer full 1920 x1080 HD video, Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan HD lens, and state-of-the-art design with internal SSD (Solid State) drives. Lightweight and compact, the drives operate silently with very low heat emission, and feature no moving parts, which reduces power consumption and enhances reliability. No moving parts also make them more durable and resistant to shock and vibrations, which can ruin performance of HDD based digital camcorders. SSD technology is also faster than HDD, including quicker boot-up and read/write speeds which is required for the amount of data recorded in full-HD resolution. When actively reading and writing data, Samsung’s SSD technology consumes approximately 1/8th of the power of a comparable HDD.
• 1/4.1” 3.3MP BSI CMOS Image Sensor provides double the light sensitivity of normal CMOS sensors and reduces light loss.
• In addition to the internal SSD drive, their memory capacity can be expanded using an SD/SDHC memory card. Theu use H.264 compression, which significantly increases recording time. At full- HD resolution, users can record for 12 hours on the HMX-H205.
• They incorporate a 20x wide-angle (37-740mm equivalent) Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan HD zoom lens which is paired with Samsung’s Optical Image Stabilizer to reduce blur from vibrations or hand shake.
