product reviews, and much more. They got such great feedback, they even created their own YouTube Channel (CollierGunGirls) so they could reach a larger audience. Some of their videos have been viewed thousands of times, and one has even been featured in the June 21, 2016 online editorial by Recoil magazine.
The girls enjoy creating videos. Their goal has always been to create value and entertainment for their fans. Their videos and social media platforms afford them this opportunity. Consequently, their videos have also generated new opportunities. For example, after seeing their videos, Tandemkross co-owner, Bryan Haaker, reached out to see if they would be interested in making some product instructional videos. Since a majority of Tandemkross’s customer base consists of junior shooters, it made sense to have juniors do some of the product videos. Haaker said in an Oct. 13, 2016 press release, “I love seeing young people succeed at their passion. When these two young ladies get in front of the camera; magic happens. You can instantly tell they love what they do. We are very lucky to have their assistance with our upcoming set of videos. I hope by partnering with us and sharing our audience, they will inspire other juniors out there to take an active role in the competitive shooting sports!” As 2016 winds down and 2017 begins, the girls are focusing on improving their shooting. In the fall, both girls switched from the Ruger SR22 to the Ruger 22/45. The 22/45 offers a longer barrel, better accuracy, and the ability to customize specific parts. These factors combined, helped the girls make a significant amount of progress in a relatively short amount of time. In fact, as of late 2016 both girls are starting to beat their dad on certain stages at matches. While Anthony is not a professional, beating him on a stage helps the girls measure their progress. They care about the competition with dad more than their ranking in the match. “Of course I want to win and do well at a match, but really I just want to beat my dad. Stages are fine for now, but eventually I want to beat him in a match,” said Faith Collier. From the looks of how good the girls are getting, it doesn’t sound like it will take long for that to happen. Faith and Jenna currently compete in Steel Competitions, Steel Challenges, and 2 Gun Matches with their Ruger 22/45s and Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22s. Aside from the shooting sports, both girls are straight A students and compete in several styles of dance. They both are involved in school clubs. Jenna sings in the school choir and Faith plays the flute in the school band. Long term goals for the girls include winning a major match and gaining admission into the United States Air Force Academy.
