MISSIONS
MISSION TRIPS DISPLAY WJU'S
GLOBAL IMPACT
This summer WJU sent mission teams to Romania, Honduras and Cambodia to reach the world for Christ. The Romanian team was led by Natalie Barentson and Jacob Langstaff. Honduras leaders were Jacob Baquing, Raelle Roberson and Brandon Rose while Cambodia was headed up by Jerod and Elizabeth Pivin, Rachel Gracey and Nikita Schenck. All three teams were trained to share the Gospel as well as their own personal testimonies with the hope and prayer to each have the opportunity to share with someone while in the field. While on mission, teams engaged in various activities such as working with women rescued
from the sex trade industry, Bible school and construction projects geared toward assisting foster families with at-risk children. The team’s greatest joy was engaging in eternity-changing conversations with people who have yet to know and follow Jesus, as they reached the unreached on a mission to add to the numbers of those who will forever worship their Creator.
