years as a Bible and history teacher in Fair Oaks at Freedom Christian School and also spent seven years as a youth and worship pastor at Lifepoint Church, also in Fair Oaks, Calif.

As a former Bay Area employee, he knows the region well and was drawn to it for a couple of reasons. In a humorous way, Ed explained, “I must say that initially, my favorite part of working in the Bay Area was the food! Where else can you find a Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, and Italian restaurant on the same street?”

On a more serious note, he continued, “I somewhat stumbled into my work experience in the Bay Area. After spending seven years teaching and five years of business development for a major bank, God sent me to the Bay Area to help ministries with the skills I acquired in the business development world,” he said.

As Jones worked with strong Christian leaders, he found a unique blend of drive, intelligence and passion for reaching the Bay Area for Christ. “I found great fulfillment in helping to promote the success of others,” Ed said. “Now, I am truly inspired to have the opportunity to work to increase scholarships so students can make an impact for Christ through both vocational ministry and workplace ministry here at William Jessup University.”

Ed and his wife Christy have two boys and reside in Citrus Heights, Calif.
