Kylie Ohlmiller left high school with a mic-dropping message, inscribed in the 2014 Islip (N.Y.) senior yearbook. “See you on ESPN.”
Ohlmiller backed that up this year, twice appearing on ESPN’s
“SportsCenter” for behind-the-back goals. Her stylish finishes April 17 in Stony Brook’s 10-7 win over Johns Hopkins and Oct. 8 in Team USA’s 20-7 win over North Carolina both made the Top 10 plays list. Ohlmiller, one of 25 players on the U.S. World Cup training roster, is the first Stony Brook player to be named to the national team.
