Five men’s and fi ve women’s fi nalists will be announced May 12 and invited to the Tewaaraton ceremony June 2 in Washington, D.C.

We love live streams as much as the next lacrosse fan, but isn’t there something pure about having both hands free while watching a game from across the room, perhaps, on the old television set? Here are just a few big games to watch this month.

USC AT COLORADO Friday, April 8, 4 p.m. ET (Pac-12 L.A., Pac-12 Mountain) Pac-12 women’s lacrosse doesn’t offi cially start until 2018, but the conference’s digital network already is on board. Fans in L.A. and Colorado get a look at the Women of Troy, ranked 12th in the Nike/LM Top 20 as of press time, and the Buffaloes, who started 3-1.

DUKE AT NOTRE DAME Sunday, April 10, Noon (ESPNU) Two of the best midfi elders

in the game, Duke’s Myles Jones and Notre Dame’s Sergio Perkovic, take center stage at Arlotta Stadium in South Bend.

MICHIGAN AT OHIO ST. Saturday, April 16, 11 a.m. (Big Ten Network) It’s rivalry weekend — Army and Navy play at noon on CBS Sports Network, too. In the Midwest, the annual Showdown in the Shoe will attract one of the biggest crowds all season. It is held immediately before the Buckeyes spring football game. Last year, about 40,000 were in the stands by the end of overtime when Maryland downed the Buckeyes. OSU has won four straight against what it calls “that team up north.”
