Operations Road trains 432/431 run seven days
a week from Stratford to CN’s Macmil- lan Yard in Toronto, usually on duty at 6:00 a.m. On duty at 7:00 a.m., Train 581 operates four days a week, Monday through Thursday, serving Goderich Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and switching Exeter Sub customers on Wednesdays. Train 516 is the Stratford Yard switcher, working Monday through
Friday, and switches customers near the yard at night. Sometimes 516 runs during the day as a weekend extra to Guelph or Kitchener for CP interchange as needed. On the east end of GEXR, Train 518 is
a weekend extra called as needed out of Kitchener, and runs to Guelph, the CP interchange in Kitchener, or Stratford as required. Train 580 is a Monday-Friday road switcher out of Kitchner, hauling
cars for Train 592 and interchange with the Guelph Junction Railway and Ontario Southland Railway. It also switches customers in Guelph and Breslau. Train 582 is a Monday-Thurs- day job originating in Galt.
The Goderich Subdivision The Goderich Subdivision is the line
we will concentrate on from the rail- road’s home base of Stratford to the Port of Goderich, including the industries served along the line. The primary stops along the line are Mitchell, Seaforth, and Clinton. Clinton Junction also connects to the Exeter Subdivision that serves Hensall and Exeter. The line contin- ues on to Centralia, but that section is currently out of service. Goderich, Mile 45.9: Goderich is
located on the eastern shore of Lake Huron at the mouth of the Maitland
