Co-op Connections The Code

Situated just off Fifth and Main at 116 NW 5th Street in Guymon, TCEC members will find a store and salon called The Code. This unique retail business participates in the Co-op Connections program, offering members who show their card 10 percent off any purchase, excluding salon services as they are independently operated.

“My name is behind this business,” said owner Eloy Torres. “Because of that, everything we sell has to work and look like new. We sell quality products.”

Members can buy, sell and trade video games and consoles at the store. Torres said his prices are competitive. His biggest seller is the original Nintendo console and Mario Brothers games.

Torres also repairs cracked screens for phones, tablets and laptops.

Torres works with his stepdaughter Huston Garcia, who is a stylist. His wife Trena Torres helps with the marketing and social media for the store so it’s a family business.

In addition to Garcia, two other stylists and a massage therapist offer

10% off any purchase
