8th Annual All-American Blood Drive Friday, July 7, 2017, at the pontotoc county agri-plex in ada

olunteers from PEC, Mercy and the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center will
be serving up free food, tickets, t-shirts and prize drawings for the All-American Blood Drive. Donate the life-saving gift of blood and enjoy hot dogs, chips and drinks from 9 am to 6 pm at the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex for the 8th Annual Ada All-American Blood Drive.

Each donor will receive a t-shirt, two admission vouchers to the Oklahoma City Zoo and two admission vouchers to an Oklahoma City Dodgers game (some restrictions may apply).
Donors will also be entered in several great prize drawings, and do not have to be present to win. So far, drawing prizes include an electric ice cream maker and electric smoker grill sponsored by PEC.

Offi cial notice is hereby given that meetings will be held for PEC members in Districts One, Three and Five. The purpose of these meetings is to elect trustees to the PEC Board to represent the respective districts. If you receive a regular monthly
statement from the cooperative, your board district is indicated in the center detail area of the bill (see area in color on example at right). If you receive an invoice billing, the board district is printed in the detail area of the invoice to the right of your name and address fi eld (noted on sample bill at right). and Seminole Counties and Pontotoc County Township 4 North -- Ranges 7 and 8 East. District One’s meeting will be held Thursday, August 24, at 6:00 pm
in the Allen School Cafeteria located on Richmond Street in Allen. District Three consists of McClain
County and Pontotoc County Township 3 North --Range 6 East (Section 1, 2, 3, 11 and 12), Township 4 North -- Ranges 4, 5 and 6 East, Township 5 North -- Ranges 4 and 5 East, Township 6 North -- Range 4 East and areas inside the Ada City Limits. This meeting will be held Monday, August 21, at 6:00 pm in the Ada High School Safe Room located at 1400 S Stadium Drive in Ada.
District Five consists of Pontotoc
County Townships in 1, 2 and 3 North, excepting Township 3 North -- Range 6 East (Sections 1, 2, 3, 11 and 12) and the area inside the Ada City Limits. District Five’s meeting will be held Tuesday, August 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the McLish School Cafeteria located just outside of Fittstown on Highway 61A.
District Meetings are held once every four years in each district and coincide with the term of offi ce of the Trustee. Each of PEC’s fi ve Trustees represents approximately 2,900 members.

Ada’s All American Blood Drive comes at a crucial time due to the decline in blood donors during the July 4 holiday week. In our area, 100% of the hospitals receive blood from OBI and its donors.
