Meet Our
2017 Oklahoma Youth Tour Winner
I chose the essay topic “Passionate to Become More,” because it relates to the goal I have had ever since I was a child. I have always strived to be better and achieve greatness, despite the disadvantages. My general passion is to become more, be the best version of me. And most of all, I wish to be a success in an area where the so-called “norm” is to stay in the impoverished community which we were born in. Don’t get me wrong, Stilwell is amazing, but I want to become something other than another victim to generational poverty.
I am currently involved in several clubs and organizations including: Key Club (President), Varsity Soccer (Co-Captain), History Club (Vice President), Math & Science Club (Officer), SHS Dream Team (Co- President), Beta Club, National Honor Society, Talent Search, and FCA. I was in Cherokee Language Club for a year, Prom Committee, and Academic Team freshman year. I am an usher and helper in Children’s Church, and also work the sound room. My current job is school, because that consumes my life at the moment. I have, and love, participating in community service events.
My dream is to play college soccer somewhere, while majoring in a Pre-Med field and minoring in some type of engineering. I will then proceed to take an attempt at passing my MCAT, and attend medical school to become an anesthesiologist. Once I have passed all the certification tests, completed my residency, and get hired on at a large hospital, I plan on settling down and possibly having a family or a dog, maybe both.

I am looking forward to just being in Washington D.C., and that I’m flying there (something I have never done before). Also all the great people I will meet, although I am generally shy, my personality normally overrides that, resulting in an abundance of friendships.
