he Operations and Engineering Employee of the Year is Heath Traylor. Heath began his career at PEC in 2008. He


brought with him a diverse background in HVAC and cabinetry work and knowledge of the natural gas industry. He was hired by the cooperative as a Construction Technician I, and was promoted to Construction Technician II in 2009. In 2010, he became a Line Technician and also

the award. “There are a lot of guys I work with who deserve the award as much as anyone,” he said. A 1995 graduate of Allen High School, Heath lives in Ada with his wife Desiree. They have one daughter, Jenna. He enjoys hunting and fi shing in his spare time.


In October of 2016, she became PEC’s Director of Human Resources. According to Kyle Stuart, PEC’s Sr. Vice-


President of Administrative Services, “Maranda is a very hard worker who has excelled at every task she’s been given at PEC. She has recently made the transition to become PEC’s Director of Human Resources, and is continuing to succeed in that role. Maranda is very deserving of this recognition, and we are thankful that she is a part of the PEC team. Congratulations, Maranda!” Maranda was born and raised in Ada.

Maranda began her career at PEC in 2014. She brought with her 10 years work experience in customer service and management. She was hired by the cooperative as a Member Accounts Manager, and was promoted to Asst. VP of Member Services in October of 2015.

he Administrative Services Employee of the Year is Maranda Babb.


Graduating in 2005 from Latta High School, she went on to attend East Central University where she graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer Sciences - Retail Merchandising with a minor in Business. She then received her Masters of Science in Human Resource - Administration in 2013. She currently lives in Ada with her husband Beau of 10 years. This summer they will welcome their first child, a precious little boy who she says, “has already stolen their hearts.”
