Bessie Poe Hall is a four-story Tudor Revival style residence hall on the campus of Murray State College. Decorative details include half-timbering in the gable ends. Bessie Poe Hall was built to house approximately 130 students, particularly Chickasaw students, at the then Murray State School of Agriculture. Construction of this facility came about because of the cooperative efforts of tribal, federal, state, and local governmental agencies to assist an Indian nation in their quest for educational facilities for their children. Listed in the National Register, 9/11/1981.
