Your co-op T
Cares
By Meghaan Evans NRECA
he holidays bring many things to mind. Happy memories of seasons past, good food (and expanded waistlines!), great family
and long awaited gi s. And, if you are like me, the holidays bring about thoughts of giving back, spreading love and sharing joy.
Perhaps you commit random acts of kindness like sharing a cup of coff ee with a friend in need, or cooking and serving food for the hungry. Maybe you give your me or money to local, na onal or interna onal chari es. Or perhaps you simply try to embrace the season by showing gra tude and kindness to those around you.
However you share your own unique holiday spirit, know that we here at Northeast Oklahoma Electric Coopera ve strive to share our spirit with you.
We hope you see it refl ected in your u lity bill. Even during the holiday season – when many people are ligh ng their homes with fes ve decora ons, or staying up late entertaining and cooking for family and friends, we are s ll working to provide you with the most aff ordable electric service.
We help members keep energy use in check by providing energy effi ciency ps. We help you save driving me by providing the op on to pay your bill online or by using our free mobile app. We also help keep your family safe by providing electrical safety ps – informa on that is especially important this me of year.
Another great benefi t we off er is the Co-op Connec ons Card. I highly recommend checking out the discounts off ered before you start your holiday shopping. You could save on everything from the gi s you place under the tree to your holiday ham! Included in this publica on is a current list of local par cipants, as well as a link to check out regional and na onal off erings.
I hope you see how much we care through the benefi ts, savings and services we provide, but I also hope you see it in the ways we give back to our community.
We are nothing without our members. We recognize that and understand that we cannot thrive unless you thrive, so we do all we can to make sure that our community is strong.
From all of your friends at Northeast Oklahoma Electric Coopera ve, we hope you have a happy holiday season!
Northeast Connection is published monthly to communicate with the members of Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative.
