f you can score a round at any of the private clubs in Reno-Tahoe, you are in for a treat. In fact, there are so many high-quality options that the public has benefitted— Truckee’s Old Greenwood and Gray’s Crossing had ideas of becom- ing private in another economy, but you can still enjoy them as high-end daily fee courses (with bonus NCGA member rates). Even Schaffer’s Mill has public access on Mondays (excluding holidays). Truckee also boasts Golf Digest


Best in State courses Martis Camp— the palatial property that hosted the 2013 U.S. Junior Amateur—and the old-school-feeling Lahontan, both fully private.
