Isabela II – Exclusive to Tauck – is a classic expeditionary yacht designed for Galápagos cruising


and catering to just 40 guests. All-outside staterooms, en-suite bathrooms with showers, individual air conditioning, storage space, a desk, two bedside tables, a music system and onboard electrical current of 110 volts provide for relaxed and comfortable cruising. Isabela II has three decks: Main, Cabin and Sun, a bar / lounge with outdoor seating, an observation deck, a Jacuzzi and solarium. Her 24-member team consists of Ecuadorian officers, naturalists and crew members plus a resident physician. Onboard naturalist guides lead explorations ashore, provide informative briefings, and chat informally with guests; they offer informed perspectives on the incredible animal, marine and plant life, and unique geological formations, of the archipelago. Meals aboard ship are freshly prepared, combining Continental and Ecuadorian cuisines. Cruising days are spent on Tauck’s all-included shore excursions to the islands, with transfers to and from the ship by pangas (inflatable Zodiac boats) and ample opportunities to swim.
