10. GATÚN LOCKS & A RAINFOREST RESORT Disembark in Colón this morning and visit the Gatún Locks to learn about plans for the future at the Panama Canal Expansion Observation Center. Then travel to Gamboa Rainforest Resort for lunch and a choice of an aerial tram ride through the rainforest at eye-level with exotic birds and animals, or a boat cruise along waterways leading to hidden islands, where you might spot monkeys at play. Later take a walking tour of Panama City’s historic district, Casco Viejo, a gem of Spanish colonial architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tonight enjoy a farewell reception and dinner.
