Explore the small island of Ponza in the Tyrrhenian Sea, where you’ll find colorful houses and the remains of ancient civilizations

Our favorite Tauck trip! Our Tauck Directors were superb. Their knowledge and experience made our trip outstanding. We loved everything about being on a sail boat, starting with the magical moment of sailing away from port to swimming in the beautiful blue water of the Mediterranean. I can’t imagine a more fun or memorable cruise.

century. Then it’s off to Villa Rufolo in cliff-top Ravello; built in the late 13th century, the terrace offers breathtaking views. Your entrance aboard Le Ponant is truly a special moment so be sure to have your camera handy! On shore, hop aboard Le Petit Train for a ride to the town’s walled fortress area; explore a maze of medieval lanes, stroll along the bluff above the harbor, and see the former barracks of the French Foreign Legion. Your yacht sails for the island of Elba later today. Meals BLD

8.  WINE TASTING ON ELBA Wait until you see the views from Villa Rufolo in Ravello! 48

Cast anchor in the secluded harbor of Portoferraio, Elba, settled by the Greeks in the 10th century BC, and home to an exiled Napoleon Bonaparte. Visit the villa he used as a summer residence, the Villa San Martino. Enjoy free time – perhaps a gelato – in Porto Azzurro, with its historic harbor and
