EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW continued

Advanced KFS vehicle duo

Dominating the Advanced

KFS stand will be two vehicles from its line-up, including a model from its established Plant & Go range and a Fiat Ducato-based, drop-side truck with up to 1300kg of useable payload. The former was developed to facilitate equipment delivery, removing the need for a trailer and addressing Health & Safety regarding the loading and unloading of bulky equipment. The drop-side 3.5-tonne truck is designed for lightweight and fuel economy.

Latest launches from Camon

At last year’s Show, Tracmaster displayed a prototype of its Camon SG30 stump grinder, and after extensive field testing, the pre-production model will be on the stand. It has a Honda GX390 petrol engine and is only 61cm wide. Also being launched will be the BCS 660 flail mower, which has hydrostatic drive and a wide wheelbase for stability on slopes.

In control with Cable Detection

Cable Detection will demonstrate the capabilities offered by

using data collected by its Ezicat i700 range of GPS-enabled cable locators, processed by new Logicat VU software. GPS positioning enables managers to see how the equipment was used and which practices were most effective in preventing damage. The new program collects data through a mobile phone app, sending it to a desktop or cloud-based system and allowing multiple interested parties to view the information. It can provide evidence of compliance and which detection modes have been used.
