Efficient crimper from MLS
In previous years at the Show, MLS (Mechanical Line Solutions) has focused on promoting its Mecklock plant immobiliser and Fuel Purifiner diesel filtering system. For 2016, it will also be displaying the Parker Hannifin KarryKrimp1 from its MF Hydraulics operation. This is designed to enable users to crimp machine hoses efficiently in the field.
The latest additions to the Mecklock range include models with tracking units that enable operators to monitor the location of their equipment, as well as giving information on usage, speed and whether the key has been
left in a machine. Trailer Engineering’s new Cubes
Bowser manufacturer, Trailer Engineering, launched its 950-litre Polycube fuel storage solution at last year’s Show and says that the response was so positive that is now unveiling a larger version with a 2000-litre capacity. Both incorporate polyethylene inner tanks to keep the contents clean and free from contamination, and to reduce condensation.
Look out also for the new Water Cube, which has an automatic heating system to prevent the water inside from freezing and to protect the pipework. It comes with an on-demand pump and external electrical connections, and is available in 110V or 240V options. All the manufacturer’s Cubes for storing water or fuel are stackable to save storage space.
Clean up with Kranzle
Kranzle UK has chosen the Show as a platform to raise its profile amongst a wider range of hirers. The company offers a comprehensive line-up of high pressure cleaning equipment for applications in a variety of industries, and it says that, typically, 80% to 90% of the components used are made in its own factories, to maintain quality and consistency. Each machine is hand-built at Kranzle’s manufacturing plant in Germany. The latest development is a soft-start valve that is now being fitted to all 230V models for the UK market. This is designed to significantly reduce amp consumption at start-up by replicating the effect of starting with the trigger gun open.
