EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW continued
Ritelite unveils LED options
Ritelite will officially launch new versions of its portable lighting products, including the K50 and K65 lighting towers, which have maximum mast heights of 5m and 6.5m respectively. As well as being available with metal halide heads, they can now be supplied with new energy-saving LED lamps. Both are designed to be set up by one person in under three minutes. The company says the products can be used in a variety of environments, including uneven ground and soft surfaces, and in diverse locations from construction sites to outdoor
events. Also on display will be the compact K9 portable floodlight.
New model from Bristol Street Motors
Bristol Street Motors (BSM) Ford Bolton is returning to the Show with a new vehicle, evolved from the original model developed for the hire industry by the former Gordons Ford dealership, before its acquisition by BSM. Based on the Ford Transit chassis cab, the rear section of the body has been replaced with a lightweight 4.11m aluminium drop-side body with 61cm anodised aluminium drop sides, which have been reversed to close any gaps, and fitted with access steps. A 500kg tail lift and upgraded suspension are incorporated to enable heavy loads to be loaded and unloaded efficiently. The vehicle also has various fittings designed to improve safety and practicality, including a rubber-clad anti-slip ladder gantry with secure grab handles, V-grooved chocks with four pairs of tie points, and a chassis-mounted, lockable toolbox.
