THE HIRER’S CHO OICE FOR FLOOR GRINDIN NG
Mobile MCS addition
MCS will launch Workshop Mobile, an Android app designed to enable field technicians to view, update and complete their assigned tasks in real-time. It also allows workshop managers to allocate orders instantly to the most suitable engineer, and to view the status of all workshop jobs. The company says the app has been created as a result of a technology partnership that integrates an application called JobWatch with the MCS-rm hire management software solution.
Yokota’s tool additions
Yokota UK promises several new additions to its range of pneumatic tools for applications in construction and other industries, including high-performance 10kg hammers, pulse air shovels with insulated lances, and electric hand-held grinders. The company offers products from Toku, Red Rooster Industrial and Action, and staff will explain the advantages offered by models incorporating automatic lubrication, including more consistent operation and potential Health & Safety benefits.
Cordless Stihl display
Stihl will be highlighting the TSA 230 9in cordless cut-off saw. Weighing 3.9 kg, it is powered by a
36V Lithium-ion battery and can be used both indoors and outdoors. A brushless EC motor is also incorporated. Visitors will also be able to see the TS 480i cut-off saw, which has a fuel injection system designed to set the tool’s optimum ignition and fuel supply values in milliseconds. An electronic water control system for dust suppression is also available for the machine.
