EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW

So much more to explore

A record number of exhibitors await you when you visit the tenth Executive Hire Show. We preview many of the new products that will be launched, representing a host of new hire opportunities for your business.

A&Y shows its colours

A&Y Equipment, the UK and Ireland importer for Yanmar construction

equipment, says that 2015 saw the manufacturer update

the design of its cabbed excavators, with the main alteration being a change in colour from green to black. All models on display will be the latest versions, which also include black ram guards, representing a shift from yellow. Yanmar will also be rolling out fresh decals for excavators

throughout 2016, starting with the popular SV26. Now available with a long arm, this machine will take pride of place on the stand. Visitors will also be able to inspect a selection of products from the Ammann compaction range offered by A&Y, such as an ARX12 roller and a number of plate compactors, including the forward-travel APF1033 with a new larger Honda GX120 engine.

Ten out of ten for HSC

Hire Supply Co (HSC) is one of 27 exhibitors that will have exhibited at all ten Executive

Hire Shows, and the company will focus on this theme throughout its stand. Special deals will be available, based around the number ten, and facts and figures relating to that number will be displayed next to products from the HSC range, including gardening equipment from Barreto, Dosko, GTM and Midland Power, heating and lighting products from Master and Exin, together with dust control items from Pullman Ermator and HSC’s own Elite line-up. The company’s FireSafe Division Manager will be on hand to discuss the latest regulations regarding risk assessments and fire extinguisher servicing, and visitors will have the chance to win prizes in a 10 Second Challenge competition on the stand.

Success on a plate with Altrad Belle

While exact details are being kept back until the Show opens, Altrad Belle is introducing two new electric plate compactors, following the successful launch last year of the PCEL400E. They are designed for applications in areas where noise and emissions have to be minimised, and incorporate components to reduce HAV.

The stand line-up will also include the Midi 20-140 hydraulic power pack, which has a power-on-demand system as standard, together with the low-vibration BHB25X breaker. Hirers can also view the manufacturer’s line-up of eco-friendly RTX trench rammers and electric site mixers, together with the Belle Warrior wheelbarrow.

Low-vibration Makita breaker

Makita’s new HM1812 AVT electric breaker is claimed to offer a 60% increase in impact energy at 73 joules compared to its predecessor, with a 25% reduction HAV to 6.5m/s2

. It has a

new vibration damping system to effectively separate the impact generation assembly from the motor housing. The tool is powered by a 2000W 240V motor, or a 1700W motor in the 110V version. A soft-start function is

incorporated, which also stops the impact mechanism if the motor is running but the point is not pressed to the ground, further reducing vibration exposure.
