TURNING YOUR WORLD AROUND
Brazil Covering an area of 14 square km (46,000 square feet), Beto Carrero World is the largest park not just in Brazil but also all Latin America. The park was founded in 1991 by entrepreneur and artist João Batista Sergio Murad, better known as Beto Carrero. His passion was the rodeo and he performed as cowboy characters in several movies. Beto Carrero World is located in the town of Penha, in the state of Santa Catarina. This diverse park features multiple themed worlds including Avenue of Nations, Pirate Island, Animal World, Fantasyland, Wild West, Germanic Villa and Radical Adventure. The latter area is home to the Fire Whip rollercoaster. This
2008 Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster stands 40 metres high and reaches speeds of up to 100km (62m) per hour and features no fewer than fiver inversions. The park also features a further three rollercoasters, including two more by Vekoma. The newest attraction within the Radical Adventure, however, is
a racing simulator manufactured by the Brazilian company Sphere Motion, from the city of Curitiba. The ride provides acceleration, braking and driving much like that experienced by a

Brasil Beto Carrero World es el parque más grande de Brasil y de América Latina, con una extensión de 14 kilómetros cuadrados. Fue fundado en 1991 por el empresario y artista João Batista Sérgio Murad, conocido como Beto Carrero. Su pasión era el rodeo y representó personajes de cowboy en varias películas. Beto Carrero World está ubicado en la ciudad de
Penha, en el estado brasilero de Santa Catarina, a 592 kilómetros al sur oeste de Sao Paulo. Está considerado como un parque multitemático por la diversidad de sus atracciones, entre las que se encuentran: la Avenida de las Naciones, la Isla de los Piratas, Mundo animal, Tierra de la Fantasía, el Lejano Oeste, la Villa Germánica y Aventura Radical. Es precisamente en ésta última en la cual ha
desarrollado sus más recientes y exitosos proyectos. Uno de ellos es la montaña rusa Fire Whip, fabricada por Vekoma, de 40 metros de altura, que alcanza velocidades hasta de 100 kilómetros por hora y que se caracteriza por tener 5 inversiones, que colocan a los visitantes sobre sus cabezas.
