Founded in 1936, BALPPA is the non profit-making Trade Association, which represents the interests of owners, managers, suppliers and developers in the UK's commercial leisure parks, piers, zoos and static attractions sector. BALPPA speaks for over 300 Members, and ultimately for many millions of customers every year.


We are very politically active, constantly engaging legislators, politicians, and senior civil servants in discussion on issues of importance to our Members. Current campaigns include the Cut VAT Campaign, the school holiday campaign lobbying against the proposed changes in the lengths of the schools’ Summer holidays; and the establishment of a fair taxation system for coin-op businesses.
