Novomatic UK to deploy over 200 units to Grosvenor N
OVOMATIC UK has finalised another significant contract with Grosvenor Casinos, the UK’s largest casino operator, which will see more
than 200 NOVO LINETM B1 gaming machines and 80 NOVO LINE Novo Unity II multiplayer terminals deployed across its entire UK casino estate. The installations are taking place during the first half of the year and include leading cabinet innovations such as the DOMINATOR, GAMINATOR III and NOVOSTAR V.I.P. machines. The UK-facing casino brand of The Rank Group has additionally selected to replace over 80 units on the Novo Unity I platform with upgraded NOVO LINE Novo Unity II terminals as part of its upgrade and improvement strategy. NOVOMATIC already plays a substantial role in Grosvenor operations nationwide and this new deal was characterized by the increasing performance of EGMs that have seen players lining up to get their hands on the first-rate gaming action. “When you look at our casino floors up and down
the UK, there is scarcely a time when the NOVOMATIC machines are not in use,” commented Simon Beacham, Head of Electronic Gaming for Grosvenor Casinos. “With new cabinets and content from NOVOMATIC consistently outperforming their predecessors, this investment was a logical decision to make as there was a very compelling argument to undertake this extensive deployment of new product.” Key to the outstanding performance of the EGMs is continued growth of the aServe Server Supported Gaming (SSG) system by Astra Games, part of the NOVOMATIC UK Group. The best-in-class system not only provides industry-leading functionality, but also gives access to the full library of NOVO LINE games that can be deployed onto each and every terminal. In addition to the unprecedented games library, aServe provides a comprehensive and bespoke
performance reporting service. The system provides live player data on patterns of behavior, game preferences and staking levels for different games, as well as identifying trends and influences such as major sport events and weather. This information offers an invaluable tool for quick and informed business and marketing decisions in the casino.
But the success of Grosvenor is not based on slots alone and multiplayer systems are a key component to offer a complete gaming experience. The NOVO LINE Novo Unity II platform is at the heart of this approach and Grosvenor will benefit from developments that include additional layout options, an increased choice of cabinets and new technology on the second screen that shows extensive statistical and historical information as well as live feed from the table.
