USA MARINA AND BOATYARD STUDY TOUR 2017

The Marina Industries Association (MIA) has recently announced their second international study tour to one of greatest boating capitals of the world, Florida, USA. The 4 day tour visits 17 of the most innovative and diverse marinas in Florida.
The marinas and boatyards that delegates will visit during the tour include:
Marinas and Boatyards in Miami Miami Beach Marina, RMK Merrill-Stevens shipyard, Rickenbacker Marina, Dinner Key Marina
Marinas and Boatyards in Fort Lauderdale Pier 66 Marina, Lauderdale Marina, Derecktors Shipyard, Habour Towne Marina, Roscioli Yachting Center, Bradford Marine
Marina and Boatyards in Palm Beach Palm Harbor Marina, Rybovich, Riviera Beach Marina, New Port Cove Marine Center, Old Port Cove Marina, The event is scheduled to coincide with the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show giving delegates the opportunity to visit the show before joining the tour.

Middle East Yachting Conference 2017
Gold Anchor assessor Tony Dye has recently returned from Dubai Boat Show where he spoke to many interested marinas about accreditation under the new Gold Anchor scheme. During his business trip he spoke on ‘How to increase the level of services’ at marinas at the Middle East Yachting Conference 2017.
