arah has been a committed supporter of the membership for many years and has
been a TYHA Council member for over 10 years and also sat on the National Boat Show Board of Directors for over 5 years. Members can rest easy however as following the AGM Sarah will continue to be a TYHA Director and Council member and therefore will remain very much involved.
Sarah’s leadership of the TYHA Board and Council has been highly valued with some important work conducted during her tenure. She championed the harmonisation of the UK and Australian Gold Anchor Schemes and worked with both organisations to produce a single global scheme focussed on high standards of customer service assessed through a new highly objective scheme. At the TYHA AGM on 10th May 2017 Sarah Hanna will step down as Chair of The Yacht Harbour Association after 4 years at the helm following in the footsteps of the previous Chair, Julian Goldie.

Most recently Sarah waved the TYHA flag at the World Marina Conference 2016 in Amsterdam, and helped deliver a successful half day of content to marina professionals from all around the world. The staff, Directors and Council members would like to express their sincere thanks to Sarah for her hard work and guidance during her tenure and very much look forward to her continued support of the organisation.
