Dorade Law is delighted to
announce that Gus Lewis will be joining as a Director of Dorade Law in February 2017. Gus joins Dorade from the Royal Yachting Association, where for
the past ten years he has headed up the Legal Department and gained extensive experience in negotiating with Government and regulators at all levels. Before that, Gus was in private legal practice focussing on the yacht and superyacht sectors and their associated industries. His experience will particularly enhance and consolidate Dorade Law’s Ports & Harbours expertise.
Gus is a commercial RYA/MCA Yachtmaster
and a keen sailor and powerboater and is keen to get out and about and meet with as many Port Directors and Harbour Masters as he can!
Background. Dorade Law are specialists in the legal issues of the Superyacht Industry and in Port and Harbour law. They have operated from offices in the South West and London since 2008 and work for a national and international client base of shipyards, contractors and ports. The firm and
the lead director have been consistently recognised as genuine experts in the marine industries by both the Legal 500 and Chambers Directory for many years.
