Static grid code or steady-state voltage control requirement defines the limits regarding voltage and frequency tolerance and the related rules when a power generation system must stay on the grid whereby a power reduction is accepted. Also, an extended power factor range (eg. 0.8 lagging, -0.95 leading) is often required. To cover these requirements a static grid code package was defined according to the German BDEW standard released 06/2008 for the Jenbacher product portfolio and is available ON DEMAND as an option as part of our product program. With this static grid code package most of the international steady-state voltage control requirements are covered.
