Function The gas control valve doses the right gas amount to the combustion air according to the LEANOX* controller signal and internal engine state information. The gas control valve can provide a precise and fast gas dose according to the setpoint of the enhanced LEANOX* controller for start, idle load, synchronization, or island mode, as well as normal grid parallel operation.

Status
The gas control valve is standard for type 4 and all type 6 F/H version gas engines. Gas mixing and gas blending are ensured with the use of a gas train and gas control valve by gas type for all platforms including type 2 and type 3.
