Vocational Qualifications
Advice NI - A leading provider of vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland
About Our Qualifications:
Advice NI vocational courses are nationally recognised competence based qualifications designed to develop and assess skills and knowledge directly related to a person’s ability to do a job. They are practice based, rather than examination based, which makes them suitable to take whilst in work.
A key part of these courses will be the learner demonstrating that they are competent in the workplace by proving that they can do certain work-related tasks. Assessment is through portfolio, where candidates build up evidence of the work they have done, for example, work products, exercises and assignments and by observation, where an assessor watches them work and checks they can do the work-related task.
These qualifications are linked to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) ensuring that they are regulated and recognised across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Having a Nationally Recognised Qualification on your CV is a great way to prove that you have the work-related skills you need for the job.
