Advising & Supporting Older People
“Enhancing specialist advice provision for older people through nationally accredited training in a way that suits your organisation’s operational needs”
Overview:
The number of older people in Northern Ireland is predicted to grow dramatically in the next decade and there has never been a more important time to recognise the importance of specialist advice provision for those at or near retirement age. For the past 7 years we have successfully delivered our award winning Advantage training and were the first providers in NI of nationally accredited training on age issues.
To meet changing needs in the sector, we will soon be able to offer learners even more flexible and comprehensive options to enhance their skills in a way that suits their organisational priorities. Learners will be able to complete our nationally accredited six module course via e-learning, or select individual courses that interest them for standalone e-learning without seeking accreditation. Face to face workshops to enable interaction with others on the course will be available subject to demand.
Who Should Attend?
These courses are aimed at those who work in an advisory capacity with older people, those working on age sector issues and those working within the subject areas.
