Credits Requirements Minimum Credit Value: 55
The learner must achieve the 31 credits from the Mandatory Group A.
Plus a minimum of a further 24 credits must be achieved by completing the Optional Units as follows:
A Minimum of 15 credits from Optional Group B.
A Maximum of 9 credits from Optional Group C.
Mandatory Units Mandatory units include:

• Understand customers and customer retention
• Principles of business
• Manage personal and professional development
• Resolve customers’ problems

I have found great benefit in completing the NVQ in Customer
Service. Working within a very customer focused role, I believe my customer service skills have improved and that I now have a better understanding of how to deliver a high quality customer service.
Since undertaking the NVQ in Customer Service the service I provide is much more robust. I know how to manage customers’ expectations and am much more confident during negotiations and in situations where I am faced with an angry or aggressive customer.
