Refurbishment: Giving the customer more choice
As one of the largest water jetting machine manufacturers in the UK, Jetchem and Superjet have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the jetting industry. We know that investing in a jetting system is a huge commitment with performance, reliability and longevity of a unit being top of the list. Generally a jetting machine is a hard wearing piece of kit and with regular service and maintenance can last for many years. As well as operating six nationwide depots across the UK backed up by a large service fleet we specialise in refurbing jetting machines.
We can refurbish practically any jetting machine from small trolley units to trailer, van and lorry mounted units. We recently relocated our Midlands depot to larger premises, which is our central location for our refurb team. The larger premises have enabled us to accommodate more units such as JetVac tankers, being able to fully modify tankers with complete refurbishments, re-chassis, painting and fitting of extra’s such as storage facilities.
A recent project we undertook was to refurbish a medium volume 18 tonne tanker for a valued customer. Our Refurb division, which is based at Superjet Midlands, worked closely with the customer to agree on what was suitable, on this particular refurb a full re-chassis was decided along with a general overhaul and refurb. We sourced a brand new DAF LF55 chassis, with the customer requesting an extended day cab for added storage. Included was a 3000 series fully automatic gearbox and all new ‘operator friendly’ hot shift PTO and hydraulic drive system. On request by the customer we fitted extra storage facilities on the externals of the unit for tools and equipment.

pressure water jetting system was fitted with a unique performance (pressure and flow). Finally a high specification camera system, providing all round visibility which would ensure safer working in pedestrianised areas, was fitted.
Choosing to refurbish a jetting unit can sometimes be the most financially sound decision, prolonging a vehicle or jetting unit’s lifespan considerably. If you would like more information on how a unit can be refurbished please call your local Superjet depot.
