Mindful By All Means by Paul Boeker, Editor

Seven years ago our Fellowship developed a new vision statement. At the heart of the statement is the key intention “so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed.” It

is the goal of our Fellowship to see Christ proclaimed “at every opportunity.” In this issue of Fellowship Focus, watch how people are creating opportunities to share the Gospel. Stuartburn Gospel Chapel has found a way to build on a camp

ministry to reach kids who have limited opportunities to hear the Gospel or grow as believers (see Church News, page 20). Salem Church has partnered with other churches to offer a

cooking class as a way to build relationships with new residents and “share who Christ is in a tangible way” (see “Cooking for Dummies,” page 10). Find out how Jansen Bible Church used an abandoned house

to build relationships for Christ (see “Jansen Bible Restores a House,” page 17). FEBC Churches in Saskatchewan have united to plant a

church in Saskatoon. Read about the plan and the planter on pages 11 and 12. Learn how an empty gas tank provided an opportunity for one

person to proclaim the Gospel (see “Catch the Vision,” page 24). And there’s a special treat for your children. Read “A Snake

Snuck In” (see page 16).to teach your children that we “ought always to pray and not to faint.” As we begin a new year under God’s grace, perhaps we should

keep Paul’s personal strategy in mind: “To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things [friend, servant, teacher, mentor, encourager] to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings” (1 Corinthians 9:22-23 ESV). Happy New Year!
