FOOD TOURISM WHEN & WHERE
The New Culinary Traveller
When: Tuesday 8 November 13.30-14.30
Where: Platinum Suite 1
The food tourism industry is maturing. Back in 2001 when the industry was founded, no one knew what food tourism was. Then seemingly everyone jumped on the bandwagon. New research is showing how today’s culinary traveller is evolving. There is more opportunity than ever to woo, and profi t from, the interest in food and beverage. Exactly how have foodie travellers evolved? How do we explain striking differences among foodies? Which types of foodies are the biggest spenders? These questions and more will be answered. Speaker: Erik Wolf, Founder, WFTA
Organised by World Food Travel Association
