JOUSSEN Friedrich (Fritz) became sole Chief Executive of TUI Group in February 2016, after an interim
period as CEO following the merger of TUI AG and TUI Travel PLC in 2014. In October 2012 Friedrich was appointed a member of the Executive Board of TUI Group. In February 2013 he took over as CEO of TUI AG. Besides that he was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of TUI Travel PLC in March 2013.

ANDREW SWAFFIELD Andrew Swaffi eld is Group Chief Executive Offi cer at Monarch Airlines. Prior to this, he held the position of Managing Director
of Avios Group Limited. Preceding his time at Avios Group Limited, Andrew held positions at Thomas Cook and British Airways where he headed leisure sales in the UK and Ireland, as well as running its travel agency and tour operating subsidiaries.
During his tenure with the Monarch
Group, Andrew has overseen the successful restructure of the Group, which removed £200m from its operating costs, and secured its future by completing the sale of the Group to Greybull Capital LLP in October 2014.
CAROLINE BREMNER Caroline Bremner manages the global research programme for the travel industry at Euromonitor International.
Caroline has a degree in French (MA (Hons), University of Edinburgh) and Postgraduate Diploma in European Marketing and Languages (PG Dip, Napier University, Edinburgh). l Caroline will also be presenting the WTM Global Trends Report 2016 in the WTM Inspire Theatre on Tuesday 8 November, 15.00-15.50.
CHRIS MOTTERSHEAD Chris Mottershead started as Group Finance Director at Aspro Travel, prior to joining Airtours Holidays in 1993. Chris was later
promoted to Managing Director of Airtours Holidays and subsequently
became President and Chief Executive of its North American division. In late 2001, Chris became Managing Director of TUI UK, a position he held for almost three years.
He was appointed into his current
role of Managing Director for Thomas Cook Group’s UK & Ireland business in September.
PATRICK RICHARDS In 2013 Patrick Richards joined the Cox and Kings group as Chief Commercial Offi cer. From 2007 to 2014 he chaired
the European Tourism Association (ETOA) which is the trade body for destination Europe. During this period the association doubled in size and is considered a strong role model in representing the travel sector. He continues to play an active role on the Board of Directors.
TERRY WILLIAMSON Terry is Chief Executive of JacTravel, one of the world’s premier suppliers of online hotel bookings and inbound travel
services to the tourism trade. Under his leadership, the company has grown its sales by an average of 20% every year to over £360m. Prior to joining JacTravel, Terry, was the Chief Executive Offi cer of the school and student educational tour operator, Education and Adventure Travel Group.
Prior to that he held positions as CEO of Tour Operations for Monarch Travel Group (5 Years), and Managing Director of UK Tour Operations for Thomas Cook Group (six years).
