JERRY’S NUGGET SELECTS SYNKROS
Las Vegas’ Jerry’s Nugget Casino has selected Konami’s SYNKROS Gaming Enterprise Management System Nevada - Installations
Konami Gaming’s Synkros casino management system has been selected by Jerry’s Nugget Casino, located just north of Downtown Las Vegas.
For more than 50 years Jerry’s Nugget has served as one of the area’s premier mid-sized casino properties and is now launching Synkros across its operation with a focus on consistent quality and personalized customer engagement. The casino’s 550+ machine gaming floor will leverage a variety of Synkros marketing tools to grant its guests a fun and memorable experience unique to Jerry’s Nugget and consistent with its exceptional legacy.
“As one the very first gaming destinations to cater to the Las Vegas locals, we’ve selected Synkros in part to continue that local customer focus with promotions and incentives that reward our valued players in new ways,” said Jeremy Stamis, President at Jerry’s Nugget Casino.
The property will also be introducing floor-wide community bonusing events using Synkros’ acclaimed SuperSeries. With SuperSeries’ multi-
level, multi-themed community bonusing games, carded guests at any slot machine will simultaneously compete for progressive jackpot awards.
“Our MoreClub rewards members will see more personalized benefits to complement their visits and further reinforce Jerry’s Nugget as their casino of choice,” said Mr. Stamis. “And from an operational standpoint, Synkros’ proven reliability and highly- targeted marketing capabilities help align our business for long-term market success and technical dependability.”
“Jerry’s Nugget is prominent Vegas fixture and we’re thrilled to be able to provide a new wave of systems technology to benefit their casino guests and organization as a whole,” said Scott Richards, Director, Systems Sales at Konami. “They have a longstanding reputation for quality customer care and attention. With what Synkros has to offer, Jerry’s Nugget will give players new opportunities for thrill and excitement for many years to come.”
Florida The state of Florida has now filed a lawsuit in a Tampa federal court asking a judge to order the Seminole Tribe of Florida to cease operating blackjack tables. Florida does not have legal jurisdiction over tribal reservations. The Seminoles were supposed to remove the blackjack tables at the end of September. But the tribe filed a lawsuit seeking to keep blackjack and other banked card games in place. The request follows the end of a five-year deal allowing blackjack at casinos such as the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino locations in Tampa and Hollywood. The tribe was given a 90-day grace period to remove them but with that period coming to an end the tribe filed its own lawsuit. It believes it can continue operating the games while the lawsuit is under consideration. Ken Lawson, the secretary of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation, said: “Under the existing compact, the Seminole Tribe of Florida is now illegally operating their banked card games. In accordance with the existing compact, the state is asking the court to order the tribe to cease operations.”
