Raw powders can be evaluated for vertical discharge from bins through a converging hopper using Brookfield’s Powder Flow Tester; hopper opening and half angle are determined using Powder Flow Pro software to ensure smooth continuous operation during processing. Formulations that are heterogeneous mixtures with particles can be evaluated for viscosity using Brookfield’s Soft Solids Tester with Vane Spindle.
